#14 Bunker Renovation

#14 bunker renovation is now completed, making #4/#7/#9/#14/#15 done. The change has really added a new look to the course and everyone likes the improvements. Next spring we will look at #17/#18 and try to get the new #3 green and approach complex built so we can move on to do #6 green and bunker renovation along with expanding #15 green. Louis Miller and his staff at Golf Development Construction has done an outstanding job and has been great to work with. Looking for a relaxing but productive winter, and can't wait till spring to keep moving on the renovation.

Bunker Renovation

The bunker renovation has beena great change needed for Juniper Hill Golf Course. It ahs been coming along nicely with #4, 7, 9, and 15 done already, with the next phase being #14. We are about half way done with the entire project, with #17, 18 left to do, a new #3 green and approach, along with raising the front of #6 green and putting in a new approach with bunkers and expanding the back of #15 green. The project will let us go from 9 bunkers to 16 bunkers.

We have received nothing but praise on these projects as we continue to improve the golf course. I appreciate all the support and understanding as we work on these bunkers. The golfers has been understanding with the make shift greens in the fairway so we don't interupt the work being done.

If you haven't seen the improvements, please come out and ask for Kirk Schooley, PGA Professional, or myself. We'll be glad to show you around.

Wet conditions at Juniper Hill

The rain has really hounded us these past couple of months. We have put off aerification due to this and tournaments, but we finally finished everything. The course did very well this year, and we continued our bunker renovation projects by having #7, and #9 done. Four holes down, with five more to go. Hopefully we can get one more hole done before winter sets in.

During these wet conditions, please follow all cart rules and stay out of the low laying areas on the course. This is where a lot of the water drains to. Please stay on the cart path around all tees and greens. Thank you.

I want to thank everyone for their understanding this year during projects and regular maintenance practices that took some playing around. We do this to keep improving the course and make it that much better. Without your continued support, it wouldn't be possible.

I hope everyone enjoys the upcoming holidays as we will do the same.
